Good evening folks i ve been reading threads all day looking for some help and have found similar but not quite the same problems.
2000 landcruiser door locks not working.
They would not honor their 1 year warranty on that repair becasue they say the vehicle s computer is the problem and needs to be replaced 1200.
Looking at your owner s manual or the fuse box you should find a fuse related to the door locks.
42 of the gen 3 wiring diagram.
Our mechanic has confirmed this and went on to replace a control unit which receives both signals from the switches and the wireless signal.
Just a guess.
I performed the steps to program the new key fob and all lights turn on for the key fob.
Our 2000 toyota land cruiser has some issues with the door lock electronics.
This was done 500 and within a couple days it stopped working again.
I have a 1997 land cruiser and i have not sure a key fob in 1yr since the old one broke.

The switches on the door panels do not operate the system but the one functioning key fob we have does.
I just replaced the old one and made sure it was a black key fob to make the old one and it was for a 1990 1997 land cruiser.
My master door lock switch in the driver side door stopped working last year.
Disconnect the connector clean with contact cleaner spray and small brush reassemble.
I took my 2000 land cruiser to the dealer and they said they needed to replace the master switch in the driver side door.
If changing the fuse doesn t work then unfortunately you probably have a larger electrical issue.
My buddy has a 2000 lesabre that the keyless entry system has quit working not only that but the power door switches on the front doors don t work along with the interior lights.
Pulling this fuse out and replace it with the same exact one.
