2008 Jeep Liberty Sunroof Leak

Torrential or long sustained rainstorms eventually allow water to get past the rubber seal and overwhelm the small drain pipes that run from the edge of the sunroof frame to the front.

I have a 2009 with sunroof and have the same issue. There is over an inch of water on the floor of the front and the back. Water leaking 2008 jeep liberty. The failure recurred numerous times.

This happens everytime it rains. The dealer replaced the seal on sun roof. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was repaired three times for the same failure. If your jeep liberty has a sunroof i suspect the rubber seal around the sunroof glass needs to be replaced.

The 2008 jeep liberty has 3 problems reported for leaky sunroof. The contact owns a 2008 jeep liberty. However the failure recurred. Each time it rained the sun roof would leak water into the vehicle.

Had a leak in my 2008 jeep liberty in 2011 supposedly it was fixed water was leaking from the front of the car to the back water stains all over. I ve already determined which drain is leaking and normally that can be done by having an idea where the water is leaking or gathering. One time it was even in the hand grips on the inside of the doors. We are looking for a hole which is at the base of the sunroof trim or frame.

It also has a sunroof but i never see water around it or on the seats or the console. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The jeep people won t help me.
