The windows on my 2011 nissan murano keep rolling down on their own while the car is off.
2011 murano button on door handle not working.
Essentially there are two methods to unlock the vehicle doors and both methods require the factory programmed key fob.
First remove the front door window regulator then remove the door side grommet the door key cylinder and the outside handle escutcheon.
Do not forcibly remove the torx bolts.
Once you remove that cover there is a lever in there you need to pull.
Started after the lights were flashing as though the door was open but it was not.
This is normally caused by the outside door handle cable where it connects to the door latch gets jammed between operations.
Now unable to open the door with any of the buttons on the key or in the car.
The nissan murano now uses an intelligent key system for entry.
Replaced the rear door fuse to no avail.
If that doesn t work then you need to push the door from inside and pull from the outside while holding the level open.
How to replace it yourself for only 15 20.
This is a major problem given the snow and rain throughout the winter in the midwest not to mention the safety issue.
But at the same time you pull the lever you may need someone on the outside of the door to pull.
When it does that then the door will not open from either side like you are experiencing.
The rear door to my 2012 nissan murano won t work.
Then when i pressed the button in the car to open it would not.
You can press a button on the remote or press a switch on the door handle.
